Fans have come to his defence on social media and even got the hashtag,
#PrayForEmtee, to circulate on Twitter. Many have praised him for speaking out against the violence he has been forced to endure and have asked that he continue to advocate against domestic violence, even when it comes from a woman onto a man. Joy Zelda stated, “He chose not to lift his hand and abuse her the same way she been doing to him… but choose to walk away he brave and am inspired by him…”. Karabo Mapaila attested with, “I don’t get why some people are finding this funny. The guy has been abused, physically and emotionally. I respect him for opening up… It takes lot for someone who’s being abused to open up. I stand with Emtee.”
Whilst the rapper has received an overwhelming amount of support from the public, some have chosen to discredit his claims due to the prevalence of Gender Based Violence in South Africa. Many have alluded to the fact that Nicole could have possibly retaliated to violence against her, or could have been protecting their children, Avery and Logan.
Emtee has acknowledge the #PrayForEmtee tweets that have been circulated, and have thanked his fans for showing him their support. He also highlighted those who were sending him threating messages for calling out a woman, letting his followers know who would responsible if anything happens to him.

Nicole Chinsamy saying she is very abusive and wants to see him fail. The Emtee Records founder has detailed all that he goes through because of his
fiancé’s controlling ways. Although abuse claims are rarely taken lightly by social media, many are wondered if Emtee’s rants are just a way to promote his upcoming album.
Emtee’s rant revealed his fiancé’s abusive ways revealing that she physically abuses him and often leaves him bruised.
Nicole, according to Emtee, would call on her family members claiming to have been abused by the father of her children, but it is the other way round.
The rapper claims that he is currently locked out from their house and is living with a friend.
