The pair started dating in October 2018 and only made their relationship official in 2019 at the Style Awards. The following year, business man Ze Nxumalo proposed in April at the Sweni Lodge in the Kruger National Park.

More recently, they couple celebrated their ‘Umabo‘ which was an extravagant affair. ‘Umabo‘ is the closing ceremony of a traditional Zulu wedding. Generally, there are different stages to the traditional Zulu wedding. This includes ‘Lobola’ (the ‘bridal wealth’ the groom pays to the bride’s family’). Ze paid ‘Lobola’ in June, 2021. This was shortly after their engagement.

The beautiful bride also shared a post of one of her gorgeous looks as part of the celebrations. The comment section exploded with love and praise towards Green. Well known figures like Boity, Celest Khumalo , South African actresses Lari and Salamina Mosese also expressed their joy for Green and her radiant look.
Some of the celebrities in attendance included Nandi Madida and K Naomi Phakathi. Both, shared a peek into their looks for Tamaryn Green Nxumalo ‘Umabo‘ Celebrations on Instagram and congratulated the Nxumalo’s.
The ceremony also included a praise and worship. Dr Tamaryn Green Nxumalo and business man, Ze Nxumalo truly had an unforgettable ‘Umabo‘. The extravagant affair wrapped up with a show-stopping after party as Osama hitmaker, Zakes Bantwini performed!
