Who is Itumeleng Khune’s wife?
Itumeleng Khune’s wife is a beautiful South African woman called Sphelele Makhunga. She is a model and a businesswoman who owns and runs two businesses- a floral shop called Eminence Florist by SK and a luxury event planning company called Eminence Events Decor by SK.
According to sources, Sphelele Makhunga is at least 10 years younger than Itumeleng Khune. She was reportedly born in February 1997 and hails from eThekwini, KwaZulu Natal. Sources also indicate that she studied at Kloof High School and thereafter joined Varsity College.
Some of her interests include cooking and fitness. She often shares photos of herself cooking or working out with her husband on social media.
It is unclear exactly when Itumeleng Khune and his wife first met but the two got married in a traditional wedding ceremony on the 16th of November 2019 during the period when Itu was on a time off from the pitch following an injury.

Before meeting and marrying his wife, Itumeleng Khune was in other relationships- a few even with some popular women in the industry.
A few years ago, Itu was in a relationship with popular TV girl- Minnie Dlamini and the two made quite a hot couple. Things didn’t work out between them and after a couple of years, they parted ways after which Minnie started dating and got married to Quinton Jones whom he eventually divorced.
Before dating Minnie, Itu had dated musician Ntombi Mzolo and after parting ways with Minnie, he briefly dated a woman identified as Vanessa Masilo.
The Bafana Bafana star also briefly dated fitness bunny and Shauwn Mkhize’s stepdaughter- Sbahle Mpisane but they were also not meant to be and parted ways. During an episode of KwaMamkhize, Sbahle revealed that they both decided to end their relationship because they wanted different things- Itu wanted to get married and have kids, but she didn’t.
