Julius Malema’s wife is a beautiful South African woman known as Mantwa Matlala. She is reportedly a skilled accountant and works for a Johannesburg firm.

Despite her status as the wife to one of the most famous and outspoken South African politicians, Mantwa Mantlala has managed to maintain a very low profile and not much is known about her education, interests and education.

Both originally from Seshogo, Polokwane in Limpopo Province, Mantwa Mantlala and Julius Malema reportedly first met when they were still in high school, this was in the early or mid-2000s.

After many years of courtship, Malema and Mantlala finally got married on the 27th of December 2014 in a colourful traditional wedding ceremony that was held in Seshego, Polokwane. 

The wedding was a heavily-guarded private affair that was reportedly policed by more than 20 security guards who ensured that only invited guests entered. Around 500 guests graced the event including some prolific people like Economic Freedom Fighters chairman Dali Mpofu, former Limpopo premier Cassel Mathale, Malema’s lawyer- Tumi Mokwena, and actress Lerato Moloi.

Julius Malema and his wife are parents to two beautiful boys. Their first son together- Munzhedi was born in 2016 and their second son- Kopani in 2018.

Additionally, Julius Malema has an older son named Ratanang who was born in 2006 from Malema’s previous relationship with Maropeng Ramohlale.

The couple avoids exposing their children on public platforms although occasionally, the EFF leader shares photos of his beautiful family on social media to celebrate them.
