Kay Sibiya and Judie Kama have decided to call it quits! A couple that was once viewed as 'couple goals' has decided to part ways however they still remain bestfriends.
The two are parents to an adorable baby boy who they refer to as Baby Kion. The actor and his now ex girlfriend have been serving goals with their snaps on Instagram looking all lovey-dovey to their hilarious Tik Tok videos.
It came as a shocker for most of his fans as this news was not expected.
Taking to Instagram, he announced that they had split on 'amicable terms' and are asking for space to come to terms with their decision, explaining that it affects a lot of people.
"Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey and thank you for your support. After much thought and consideration Judie and I have decided to separate on amicable terms. I have much respect for her and I will always hold her in high esteem and regard.
"We know this might come as a sudden shock but please can you grant us space there is a lot on the balance and this decision is bigger than us as it effects many people," he wrote.
Judie also seems to be taking the break up pretty well as the two have taken to their Insta stories to prove that they are indeed separated on good terms and refer to each other as best friends.
She even revealed that they were on a video chat together for 2 hours and 7 minutes, joking that he owes her data.
Fans expressed how shocked they were at the news of their separation. Others could not be bothered and said they did not need to make a statement announcing such a personal thing.
Which begs the question; do celebrities owe fans an announcement in a form of a statement regarding their break-ups?
