A Look At Kefilwe Mabote's Husband And Divorces

Born in Moletsane, Soweto in 1989, Kefilwe Faith Mabote has risen to become one of the most popular social media personalities in South Africa.

Since gaining fame through Instagram, Kefilwe Mabote has grown her brand and established herself as also a fashion icon, businesswoman, and author. 

Besides having a sharp entrepreneurial mind, Kefilwe Mabote is also a very attractive young woman and the subject of her romantic relationships is a common one but sadly she keeps that section about her life quite private.

The socialite recently revealed that she had gotten engaged and was set to get married for the third time.

Here is a look Kefilwe Mabote's new husband, and a look back at her divorces, her children, and some of her popular past relationships. 

In January 2023, Kefilwe Mabote took to Instagram to share a video of herself choosing a cow, an act that is believed to be a formal confirmation that she is set to be married. She further shared photos of herself in her traditional wedding regalia.

"This is definitely the beginning of a chapter called “Us” 💍🐄🐂," part of her caption read.

Although she shared some photos where she was surrounded by her relatives and friends, Kefilwe failed to share the identity of her new husband but that did not stop tweeps from digging and finding out who he is.

Self-proclaimed tea master, Musa Khawula, took to Twitter to make the big reveal. He claimed that Kefilwe Mabote's husband is a KZN businessman known as Sandile Phakathi, who also happens to be a close friend of Shauwn Mkhize.

Although Khawula might have gotten the name of Kefi Boo's new man, he got the wrong Sandile Phakathi and used a photo of a different person with the same name. The image belonged to the former Head of Office of the MEC for Education, SizweSandile Phakathi, who threatened to sue Khawula for defamation.

Although she is only in her mid-30s, Kefilwe Mabote has already been married twice and divorced twice.

The beautiful award-winning luxury digital strategist who once revealed to her fans that she has no desire of getting married again also revealed that she got married at quite a young age. Her first and second marriages both ended in divorce and it appears that she no longer has the desire to give marriage another try.

Details about Kefilwe Mabote’s divorces and ex-husbands are currently unavailable since she has chosen not to make their identities public.

Besides her demanding career, Kefilwe Mabote is also a mother of two sons named Junior and Kanye whom she adores.

Like her ex-husbands, the identity of the father of Kefilwe Mabote’s kids has also not been revealed.

Even though Kefilwe Mabote has built a reputation for keeping her romantic relationships very low-key, she was once in a high-profile relationship with controversial and wealthy businessman- Edwin Sodi.

Their relationship reportedly came to an end shortly after Edwin Sodi was caught up in the infamous 255 million Free State Asbestos scandal that saw him arrested and his luxury cars seized by the Asset Forfeiture Unit. 

Following their break up, some people assumed that Mabote had only been with Edwin Sodi for his money and some even blasted her for benefitting from the proceeds of corruption. 

Mabote later rubbished the claims and explained that was already rich and famous before Edwin Sodi came into her life and she further explained that she works hard to finance her lifestyle.

After her relationship with Edwin Sodi ended, Kefilwe Mabote found love again in the arms of a man whom he only referred to as Mr H. In 2021, she shared a photo of herself hugging the mysterious man with his face hidden.

It’s unclear how things ended between Kefilwe Mabote and Mr H as she has continued to keep her personal life away from social media.
