Kefilwe Mabote sent tongues wagging earlier this week when she took to her socials with content of herself choosing a cow. An action which many believed was her formal confirmation that she is set to get married. However, what the influencer and businesswoman did not show was who exactly she was getting married too.

As such, the search to find out exactly who Kefilwe was getting married to started. Many hoped that Musa Khawula would be the first to reveal the news. However, it seems that publication SurgeZirc beat the controversial entertainment commentator to it. 

Is this Kefilwe Mabote’s new husband? 

In the report shared by the publication, it reported that it was alleged that the man to pay for Kefi Boo’s lobola was none other than businessman Sandile Phakathi.

Proof of the reports was due to the comment that Mmakhize shared on Kefi’s lobola post.
Moreover, Shauwn Mkhize and Sandile Phakathi are friends and business partners. This is as Phakathi is the technical director for Royal AM with his profile reading as: 

Sandile Phakathi is graduate from the Durban University of Technology specializing in civil engineering, he is also a graduate from the University of Pretoria where he furthered his education in Municipal Financial Management. Having served in technical advisory roles for multiple sport clubs, youth development programs and served as a project management unit manager, he brings a wealth of experience in HR management, financial management and overall business development. Today, his years of experience affords him the opportunity to sit on the boards of multiple enterprises which also include Royal AM Football Club.


Following the reports, more about Phakathi’s alleged private life was speculated by tweeps. On the one hand there were allegations that Phakathi had a number of other women and wives in his life besides Kefi Bo. A sentiment suggested as part of the reason she did not want to divulge who her man is.
But when Musa Khawula shared the news via social media, which has former Head of Office of the MEC for Education SizweSandile Phakathi as the image of Kefilwe Mabote’s husband, a Twitter account alleging to be the Sandile Phakathi in question refuted the claims. 
Moreover, the account asserted that they are married but faithfully so by sharing that: 

“Yes I'm still married to the same woman I met two decades ago and we're going through the tweets together.” 

Whatever the truth is, Kefilwe Mabote has proven that if she will do anything, it is that she will get married. This is as this is set to mark her third walk down the aisle. As reported in the past about her previous marriages: 
Although she is only in her mid-30s, Kefilwe Mabote has already been married twice and divorced twice.

The beautiful award-winning luxury digital strategist who once revealed to her fans that she has no desire of getting married again also revealed that she got married at quite a young age. Her first and second marriages both ended in divorce and it appears that she no longer has the desire to give marriage another try.
