Thulasizwe Siphiwe Dambuza is a sensational media personality who started out as a YouTube star but has also dominated the mainstream media.

Lasizwe is one of the South African celebrities who openly identify as gay. The media personality revealed that he first realized that he was gay when he was a young teenager and although his journey was not easy after coming out, things have since gotten better for him as the people around him have embraced who he is.

Although Lasizwe is a prominent public figure, he has managed to keep his relationship status a mystery and it’s quite hard to tell whether he is in a relationship or not.

In July 2022, Lasizwe and Mohale Motaung sparked dating rumours after the two were seen together at the Hollywood Durban July 2022 and they even shared photos of them hand in hand looking very happy and smitten and to top it up, Lasizwe even posted the caption, “Always and forever, my love. ♾”

The pair also attended the Comedy Central Roast of Khanyi Mbau launch together and rocked the red carpet further enhancing the dating rumour.

Their alleged relationship came at a time when Mohale Motaung had been embroiled in a very public divorce with his estranged husband- Somizi Mhlongo.

It however seems that Mohale Motaung is not Lasizwe Dambuza’s boyfriend, as Lasizwe explained, in a now-deleted tweet, that he and Mohale are just friends.

In addition to being linked to Mohale, Lasizwe has also been linked with other prominent people in the past who were also assumed to be his love interests.

In 2021, Lasizwe was linked with social media influencer- Asiphe Awonke Piliso but it appears that things did not work out between them.

Earlier in 2022, Lasizwe was also linked with YouTuber- Jabu Brown after he wished him a happy birthday. And although Lasizwe denied the dating rumours and even called Musa Khawula a pathological liar, Khawula provided some photos that convinced some social media users that there might have been something cooking between the two.

Lasizwe was born on the 19th of July 1998. He was raised by a single mother Lindiwe Dambuza who passed on in 2016. His father was the late Menzi Mcunu who passed on in September 2020.

The young sensational influencer has one half-sister from his mother’s side called Zonke Nkabinde and many half-siblings from his father including popular actress- Khanyi Mbau.

A few weeks ago, Lasizwe shared photos of himself that showed off what appeared to be a growing “baby bump.”

Knowing Lasizwe all too well, we know that it was probably a publicity stunt as he is known to imitate women’s characters in his skits.
