Sports broadcaster Mpho and Reneilwe "Yeye" Letsholonyane are one of Mzansi's most adored power couples in ZAlebville, and they have stood the test of time. The couple has been married since 201,8 and they have two beautiful children together, but they have been rocked by divorce rumours
This follows after Mpho removed her marital surname Letsholomyane on her social media platforms. This has raised eyebrows amongst their fans.
Mpho now goes by her maiden name Maboi, which has led to rumours that there is trouble in paradise. Some social media users speculate that the couple allegedly divorced because Yeye is a retired football player and he is broke.
"Now that Mpho Letsholonyane changed her name back to Maboi. It keeps on reminding me why most Black Springbok players chose white women. To white woman you’re still a man even with an income. Our black Sister don’t tolerate a man without an income!!!," tweeted @ChrisExcel102.
As fans speculate about her marriage, Mpho has warned them that her block button is working.
"People saying you left yeye because of money is a lie!! You might not know me but I know how much yeye was a serial cheater!!! Very uncontrollable! The venue him Nd shabba owned in Soweto where they would bring girls there??? I'm glad you chose peace over everything sis," wrote @Lejaka1.
Yesterday Mpho wished her baby daddy a Happy Father's Day amidst the divorce rumours. In a post on her Instagram page she wrote "Happy Father’s Day to all amazing Fathers and Father figures. May your day be as blessed as you are a blessing."
In 2016, Mpho opened up about how their breakup made their relationship stronger.
Speaking about their break-up, Mpho told Bright Rock TV that they broke up whilst she was pregnant, and it was hard, "I must say – the break-up was a bit hard, because we broke up while I was pregnant with our son at the time. But it had to happen. I think we had gone to a point where we were toxic to each other, where you are both unhappy, but you’re trying to make things work because there is a child who is about to come into the world," she said.
According to her, they did not break up because they no longer loved each other, but because it was the best thing for their son. "in terms of I no longer love you and I don’t want to be with you any more". Eventually, they got back together and have been enjoying every moment together. "But the second time around, everything was conscious," Mpho said.
