Rami Chuene has put to bed rumours that she is about to walk down the aisle for the second time in her life.

Television Actress Rami Chuene got tongues wagging over the weekend when she posted a snap of her 'Bride to Be' sash on Twitter. The snap sparked a major debate and a rumour has since been mill that the star is getting hitched.

Rami, who plays the fierce character of Gracious Mabuza on Mzansi's hit soapie The Queen, swiftly set the record straight when she shut down all claims of wedding bells.

The snap had already wreaked havoc on social media and fans were flooding her timeline with congratulatory messages -- all of which proved to be a false alarm because Rami is not tying the knot.
Some Twitter investigators also burst our bubbles when they noticed that Rami's close friends, including the likes of Renate Stuurman, didn't post any snaps pertaining to any kind of bridal shower

Rami took to twitter to address the speculation when she wrote "No, I’m not getting married. Stole the actual bride-to-be’s sash because I’ve never had one. Next week I’m going to a baby shower, I’ll steal the ‘It’s a boy!’ sash too. The well-wishes were too beautiful though, thank you!."

Influencer and blogger @MsLeloB replied:" And here we were already calling designers for our dresses."

Rami has been keeping her private life under wraps, she could be another Bachelorette but no one knows. The star who was previously married got divorced in 2013 from actor businessman and actor Tsepo Desando.
