SK said, “It’s good to admit when you are wrong and not let your pride get in the way of doing what’s right…”
In his lengthy Instagram post, SK said he has realized that he has hurt his fiancé and he would like to apologize.
He wrote: “Keeping things that break your spirit and hurt you inside is not always a good thing. I have come to realize that I have done so and I ended up not realizing that I was taking it out on my fiancé @Ayearndar whenever I do talk about what is affecting me I would not address it in a calm manner,
“…and in turn, I didn’t see that I was hurting her and in a way, I was being emotionally abusive towards her. She has made me understand that just because I don’t physically abuse her, I was doing so with my words and I want to speak out and say I am sorry I didn’t address my problems and allowed them to overpower me.”
He said he is currently working on himself and hopes to do things differently going forward.
“Emotional abuse is really not good, especially because it breaks the other person in a serious way. I am now working on myself and I am committed to opening up, communicating more, and talking about the things that affect me. I am working on being a better person and partner,” wrote SK
Taking to the comments section, fans and other celebrities applauded SK for admitting his mistakes. Amapiano vocalist Lady Du said the first step to healing and mending a situation is admitting.
“Let me give you a thumbs up, also the woman you have is a sensitive person, you can see how fragile she is without even speaking to her, you have found a gem, but with dating an actor I’ve realized y’all just go through a lot in your industry and need emotional support.
“Your wife looks and acts like what a wife is, I fell in love with her ngingamazi, the first step to healing and mending situations is admitting. Much love and respect to you skeem. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 kindly check up on her like she’s sick every day! That’s what I told my husband I said to him register that I’m sick and check up on me like you would when I’m sick. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 best medicine ever.”
Prudylawrence: “I’m so proud of you @skcoza. I love you and Ayearndar so much. God has put you guys together therefore nothing can destroy your relationship. I pray for strength.”
