Known for her powerful vocals and moving lyrics, Kelly has been able to dominate music charts for over 15 years, and her fans have nothing but love for the musician.

And while Kelly is the most famous person in her family, she certainly isn’t the only one who is gifted in the Khumalo clan. 

Kelly Khumalo’s sister- Zandie has carved her path in the music industry and is slowly but surely taking the industry by storm.

Zandie Khumalo’s real name is Zandile Khumalo-Gumede. She was born on the 15th of February, 1993 and she will be 30 years old in 2023.

Information about Zandie Khumalo’s educational background is currently unavailable and it’s unclear what her highest education level is.

After finishing high school, Zandie who had always wanted to work in the entertainment industry made her entrance into the industry as her sister’s stylist and backup singer.

She worked in her big sister’s shadow until 2016 when she finally released her debut single titled Themba which did really well and formally introduced her to the music industry.

Zandie was signed by Warner Music in 2017 and released her debut album Izikhali ZamaNtungwa the following year. She released her second album in 2021 titled Zenala.

Zandie Khumalo is married to a renowned businessman and head of communications manager of Mbala Noise- Mhlo Hloni Gumede.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son called Zenala in September 2021.

A few years ago, the two singing sisters made headlines when Zandile took to Instagram to blast her sister- Kelly whom she branded as “toxic” and “in need of help” and further declared that she was “divorcing” her.

Zandie’s announcement came shortly after Kelly made damning allegations against her brother-in-law and Zandie’s husband-  Mhlo Gumede whom she accused of allegedly used her name to swindle money from an event organizer.

After years of acting like bitter exes where they ignored each other on social media and openly talked smack about each other, the Khumalo sisters appear to have finally mended their differences and are slowly rekindling their relationship.

The two sisters were both present on the night when Senzo Meyiwa was murdered in Kelly Khumalo’s house and were subjects of interest during his murder trial which began in 2022.
