Zodwa Wabantu has mastered the art of setting tongues wagging on social media with her dating life and she enjoys it when people speculate. She posted a lovey-dovey video of herself and Ricardo on her Instagram stories this morning.
The couple is seen smitten over each other while planting a kiss on her cheek. Zodwa captioned the video "Forever my babe" with a heart emoji.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Zodwa confirmed that they are still a couple “I'm still dating Ricardo Olefile Mpudi. I know there's a misconception out there because we are protecting our relationship," said Zodwa.
According to Zodwa, they still have a strong relationship and Ricardo provides her with good support. “I will say our relationship is still the same since day one because we've been always together, supporting each other, outgoing, having fun, clubbing and all those things and I've also started shooting a movie. She's been supporting me through my journey and basically being there for me. Acting came naturally to me, but I've been auditioning and attending drama classes. It comes with a good side, and also the bad side with it but also the bad side I'm just OK with it now.”
She also revealed what fans can expect from the fourth coming season of her reality show Zodwa Uncensored, which airs on Moja Love.
“People can expect to see my son speaking about how he feels about being the child of Zodwa, who has been called names and whatever they say about me. Then Ricardo, my boyfriend, my journey of accepting my ancestral calling, fighting with family, witchcraft at home, and everybody who's against me who says I want ukuthwala ngabo, hey, my life is upside down.”
In September, Sunday World reported that Zodwa had applied for a restraining order in the magistrate's court at Randburg. According to the Sunday publication, Zodwa asked Ricardo to move out of her house in Fourways after breaking up with him.

“They gave me a form and gave him a form too to fill. I have not completed the form, because after returning home from court, I slept because I was tired. I will complete the form and submit it on Monday,” said Zodwa.
"He is here, even now. He is in another room and I’m in another room [of the house].” But, speaking to TshisaLIVE said their break up was staged. “No we were shooting a reality show so we make so many stunts trying to teach that you should get help in case something doesn't go well or right. Remember in the reality show I teach rawness about me, I'm the example. I never went to court there's no break-up that happened. We never broke up
