Who is Zolisa Xaluva’s wife?
Although he is a famous public figure who is known and celebrated across the country for his work, Zolisa Xaluva is very private about his personal life and he rarely ever gets anything out about his personal life.
The gifted actor was however in 2012 embroiled in baby mama issues with his ex-girlfriend
Zizipho Phoswa who is a model, an artist and ceramist based in Cape Town.
Zolisa Xaluva and Zizipho Phoswa reportedly met in 2009 and started dating and they even
had a child together during their relationship. The child however later reportedly turned
out to be another man’s child after the former couple had a fall-out and had a paternity
test taken.
Since his relationship with Zizipho Phoswa ended, Zolisa has not been in another public
relationship and it is widely believed that he could be single.

Zolisa Xaluva’s wife on television

While Zolisa Xaluva’s wife in real life may not exist currently, the actor has played a
number of roles on television and in some, he was married.
Zolisa was cast on one of South Africa’s most watched television soapie- Gomora as
Melusi Dlamini. On the show that airs on Mzansi Magic, Melusi was a school principal, a
husband and a father.
Zolisa Xaluva’s wife on Gomora is a social worker called Gladys Dlamini. The role
of Gladys is played by the beautiful and ageless actress and musician Thembi
Seete.
Before working as husband and wife on Mzansi Magic’s Gomora where their chemistry
was praised by fans of the show, Thembi Seete and Zolisa Xaluva worked together on Kings
of Joburg where they were cast as brother and sister.

Zolisa Xaluva’s background

Zolisa was born on the 13th of June, 1981 in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth Eastern Cape
where he also spent his childhood. He is the third born in a family of four children and his
parents are Thando Xaluva and Nombuyiselo Xaluva.
When he was 11 years old, Zolisa and his family moved to Johannesburg and later to Pretoria
to join their extended family.
After unsuccessfully trying to pursue a course in Media Studies and Communication Science
at Technikon Witwatersrand due to financial constraints, Zolisa later returned to college
and studied drama at Technikon Pretoria, graduating in 2003.
Since launching his acting career, he has appeared in a number of television shows
including Tsha Tsha, Generations, Rhythm City, Tshisa, The
Queen and Gomora.
