Shakira will perform her newest single, La La La (Brazil 2014) featuring Carlinhos Brown, at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup™ on July 13.

This marks the third time Shakira will perform at the FIFA World Cup™, making her the first artist to have three consecutive performances at the global event.  Her hit song Waka Waka was the last official song of the FIFA World Cup™in 2010, and she performed her hit Hips Don’t Lie at the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ in Berlin.

"I truly understand what the FIFA World Cup™ means to so many people, myself included – it has this innate ability to awaken a passion in us and bring together people of all races, ages and socioeconomic backgrounds. For me the World Cup carries such a tremendous personal connection as well. This will be my third consecutive FIFA World Cup™ performance, and the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ changed my life forever — it’s where I began the love story of my life, and now have my son Milan as a result," said Shakira.

We hope her performance is better than Jennifer Lopez and the glitter ball.

Meanwhile, a comical new song features the voices of stars including Shakira, Kermit the Frog and Frank Sinatra thanks to the skill of one musically able impersonator.

Rob Cantor from Los Angeles, California, is seen in a homemade video for his track Perfect mimicking a total of 28 celebrities, both past and present.

To date the three minute, 37 second-long ditty has attracted more than 6.8million hits since it was uploaded to YouTube on July 1.
