Here’s a picture of two pairs of shoes I recently bought. I’m not really a shoe addict like most girls are, but once in a while I do like to spoil myself with a pair or two.

After taking this photo I was a bit confused as to what drew me to such diverse styles. You’ll see that the one pair is ladylike and sexy, while the other is definitely more rocker style and comfortable. In the average female closet I don’t think it’s very common to see these two pairs owned by the same person….ever.

So, although these shoes are very different, there is one thing they have in common. See the laces on both pairs? Right there is where my magic happens. Laces seem to draw me to any fashion item. At this point I could bombard you with more photos of shoes I own that all have laces similar to these two, just in a different colour or style. However, I’m sure by now you trust my laces obsession.

I realised that although I am terrible at keeping up with the latest fashion trends, I have basically created my own.  These shoes summarise the fact that although I am a rock chick at heart, I can dress up and be ladylike.

So there you have it, my shoe style summarised!
