After two busy days of fitting, rehearsing, extensive amounts of hair spray and UBER edgy yet classy make-up, we finally got to put on our model faces and strut our stuff down the runway for the Elle Rising Star Design Awards Fashion show!

It was an awesome experience and pretty cool to be able to reunite with old friends that I never really get to see often. I don’t think I’ve laughed that much in forever, with silly lavatory jokes, and embarrassing moments.

I felt honoured to be modelling shows for future top designers. All the garments from all designers were insane. My favourite collections were from Anmari Haniball, Ruaan Jooste and Sindiso Khumalo.  There is nothing more fulfilling and heart warming than being surrounded by so many creative individuals with a burning passion and love for what they do.
