The Sands is supposed to be one of Joburg’s hottest venues at the moment and so, when I was invited to the Jameson Green Room VIP launch I naturally wanted to go! Besides, the name just has a holiday feeling to it, don’t you think?

Even on one of the coldest nights this year, walking into the venue made me feel like I was at a holiday resort summer beach party (okay with a few more jackets, but this venue is going to be AMAZING in summer!).

The whole look and feel of the club is unlike anything else in Johannesburg, which is maybe why I liked it so much. It feels like it belongs right next to Caprice in Camps Bay.

I love the different sections and that it’s not just one big room with dim lights. The outside bar and pool are going to be a huge hit in summer.

I will definitely go back to this venue…many times! So I guess you now know where to find me!
