This song is the anthem that every teenage and even adult girl uses to just let loose. It’s all about letting go of all pretences and having a good time…just because we want to!

My hair-raising song of the week:

‘Garth Taylor – If I could raise my hands’

This song is so simple, yet so beautiful. As it says below the video it is dedicated to victims of abuse, and when you listen to the passion and emotion in his voice, you can feel how much he means every word he sings. Yes, it is a sad song, but I think it makes victims of abuse feel somewhat understood and not alone. It truly is an amazing song, by an incredible musician.

My favourite video of the week:

’30 Seconds to Mars – Kings and Queens’

This is such a powerful music video. Although it’s very simple I love the way it has been shot, and I love the aesthetically pleasing settings and views. It’s the time when people from all sides of the world, from all walks of life move towards a similar goal working together to get there. The powerful anthem type chorus together with people uniting through music is just a brilliant combination for me.
