Seminar to bring together judo officials
The NJF announced the retreat in a formal invitation issued to judo stakeholders throughout Nigeria. The document, signed by Secretary-General Ngozi Amayo, was sent to every state association as well as bodies representing coaches and referees.
Sessions will take place at Package B, MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, during the five-day event.
Oshodi backs international standards
NJF President Dr Musa Oshodi said the federation’s priority was to provide coaches and referees with the knowledge and tools required to operate at internationally recognised levels.
“Our federation is determined to train and properly equip coaches and referees so they can attain the necessary standard,” Oshodi said. “That work is vital to achieving the objectives we have established for judo’s progress in Nigeria.”
He described the seminar as one element of a wider effort to reposition Nigerian judo and help the country deliver stronger performances at both national and international competitions.
