Arsenal Discuss Osimhen Deal as Galatasaray Target Martinelli

Arsenal have opened discussions with Galatasaray over the potential availability of Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen, reports in Britain and Europe claim.

Galatasaray are also understood to be keen on Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli. The Turkish side have reportedly submitted a bid worth about £38.4 million for the Brazilian.

Despite that interest, Galatasaray are said to have turned down a €130 million proposal from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal. They reportedly have no desire to negotiate Osimhen’s departure.

No deal has been agreed between Arsenal and Galatasaray for the striker. The reports also vary over whether the initial contact will develop into more advanced talks.

Osimhen therefore remains contracted to Galatasaray for now, despite Arsenal’s reported attempt to bring him to north London.
