Rafiu Durosinmi maintained his strong start with Racing Genk by finding the net in their 3-2 comeback win against Westerlo in the Belgian Pro League.
Westerlo established a 2-0 advantage within the first 13 minutes, leaving Genk facing an early setback. Durosinmi pulled one back shortly before half-time, calmly converting a penalty in the 41st minute to revive his side’s hopes.
The goal marked the Nigeria international’s second in two league outings. He had also scored during his official Genk debut against Zulte Waregem.
Genk completed the turnaround after the interval, recording their first win of the new league season. Durosinmi’s immediate impact is likely to increase pressure for him to receive a more prominent role at the Belgian club.
