Eight teams have won promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL) after the Nationwide League One (NLO) playoffs came to an end recently.
The successful sides represent regions across Nigeria and will step up to the country’s second tier for the 2026-27 campaign. They are Dokkal Khairu FC of Osun State, Mighty Jets Feeders of Plateau State, Neurospark FC from Abuja, DMD FC of Borno State, Right 2 Win FC of Abia State, OYC FC of Delta State, Junior Danburam FC of Katsina State and Ikorodu City FA of Lagos State.
Securing promotion represents another important phase in the growth of the eight clubs as they prepare for the demands of national-level competition in the NNL.
The teams are also expected to attend the NNL Annual General Meeting in Owerri on Friday, where they will be included in the draw for the fixtures of the 2026-27 season.
