The relatives of former Heartland FC General Manager Promise Uchenna Nwachukwu have confirmed that his funeral will take place on Saturday, January 2, 2027.
Nwachukwu passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. In a statement released for the family, Engr. Stanley Nwachukwu said the remaining arrangements for the burial would be made public at a later date.
The family also expressed gratitude to friends and sympathisers for the prayers, affection and support shown since his death.
“As we get ready to accord our dear brother a dignified final farewell, we remain trusting in God for comfort and strength,” the statement read.
