The England captain collected the prestigious prize following another outstanding scoring season with Bayern Munich. The award is presented each year to the player who records the highest league-goal tally across Europe’s leading domestic competitions.
Kane found the net 73 times for Bayern and England during the campaign, with 12 of those goals coming in international football.
The former Tottenham forward also reached a landmark at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He helped England secure their strongest-ever result at a men’s World Cup staged outside Europe.
Kane initially drew level with Gary Lineker’s tournament record before moving beyond it to become England’s outright leading scorer at the World Cup.
His World Cup goals also lifted him into a share of fifth place on FIFA’s all-time scoring list for the competition.
The Golden Shoe is the latest addition to Kane’s expanding list of personal accolades and underlines his sustained finishing power for both Bayern Munich and England.
