The competition is also intended to go beyond medals and results by deepening unity, friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding among those involved in Nigeria’s justice system.
NASAJ described the tournament as more than a sporting occasion, calling it a forum for promoting togetherness, fitness, mental health and professional fellowship among judicial officials and employees from across the federation.
It added that participants will have the chance to display both sporting ability and creativity while strengthening the relationships within the judicial community.
Every edition brings together competitors representing courts and judicial bodies nationwide, with teamwork, respect, fellowship and fair competition forming central features of the event.
Through sport, NASAJ said the games continue to underline the judiciary’s core principles of discipline, integrity, fairness, excellence and professionalism.
The association praised Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun for her backing of its programmes. It also acknowledged Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for his support in bringing the 2026 event to the state.
NASAJ expressed gratitude to the Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Kudirat Motonmori Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun, GCON, for her continued commitment to developing sport within the judiciary.
Her leadership and encouragement, the association said, have supported initiatives aimed at improving the welfare, unity, productivity and general well-being of judicial officers and staff through sporting programmes.
Governor Sani, the Kaduna State Government and its residents, the Kaduna State Judiciary, the Local Organising Committee and other contributors were also commended for their work towards a successful tournament.
With final preparations under way, NASAJ invited media organisations, companies, development partners, stakeholders and members of the public to lend their support and take part in the gathering of Nigeria’s judiciary.
The association said it is preparing to receive competitors and guests from around the country in Kaduna for a celebration centred on sporting spirit, fellowship, wellness and judicial excellence.
NASAJ also reflected on the 31st edition, which was successfully held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, describing it as an important chapter in the history of the games.
The association gave thanks to Almighty God for the outcome of that tournament and conveyed appreciation to the Akwa Ibom State Government and people, the state judiciary and all stakeholders whose hospitality, assistance and contributions helped make the Uyo edition a major success.
