Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has committed his future to the two-time reigning European champions by signing a three-year contract extension.
Quick facts
- His former agreement was set to end after this season.
- The new contract runs until 2030.
- The announcement came before PSG’s Ligue 1 meeting with Monaco at the Parc des Princes.
- Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu also extended their contracts.
When the news was confirmed, Luis Enrique appeared alongside the five players, all Champions League winners, and received a noisy ovation from the home supporters.
The former Barcelona and Spain manager took charge of PSG before the 2023/24 campaign. His brief was to deliver the club’s first European Cup.
He completed that mission with a remarkable 5-0 triumph against Inter Milan in the 2025 Champions League final. Paris then retained the trophy in May, overcoming Arsenal in a penalty shootout.
Since Luis Enrique succeeded Christophe Galtier, PSG have also collected three Ligue 1 crowns and two French Cup trophies.
