
Romelu Lukaku is closing in on a move to Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahçe after Napoli agreed to an improved offer exceeding €6 million.
Napoli approved the proposal after receiving Fenerbahçe’s second formal bid, while the Belgian forward has reached an agreement on personal terms with the Istanbul club. The transfer is therefore moving considerably nearer to completion.

The package is reported to comprise a €6 million payment with additional bonuses available. Napoli and Fenerbahçe are now working through the last administrative steps.
Lukaku would depart Napoli following a two-season spell in Italy. The 33-year-old arrived in 2024 and established himself as an important attacking player, registering 15 goals across 41 appearances.
With the clubs having reached an agreement, the remaining focus is on completing the formalities required to seal the transfer.
A completed deal would add another significant episode to Lukaku’s distinguished career. His previous clubs include Anderlecht, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Roma and Napoli.
