Air Warriors also made a strong move towards the finals by recording two wins from two matches. They overcame Titans 50-43 on Sunday, having begun the phase with a 58-54 success against ASO SKY Queens. That opening victory also served as revenge for their defeat to the same opponents in the first phase.
ASO SKY Queens recovered later on Sunday, defeating Plateau Rocks 61-45.
MFM continue dominant Atlantic Conference run
At the Basketball Stadium in Port Harcourt, two-time champions MFM Women remained the side to beat after overpowering First Deep Water 76-24. The victory gave the Olukoya Girls a ninth success across the two phases.
- MFM won every game they played in Lagos.
- Their second phase began on Saturday with a 20-0 walkover against IGP Queens.
- The team is pursuing a return to the summit after losing the championship to Dolphins last year.
