Anthony Nwakaeme’s impact was especially evident during Trabzonspor’s 2021–22 season, when the Nigerian winger played a decisive role in the club’s success.
He featured 36 times across all competitions, finding the net on 15 occasions and setting up 11 more goals.
That total of 26 direct goal contributions proved valuable as Trabzonspor secured the Süper Lig championship.
Alongside his scoring ability, Nwakaeme consistently created opportunities for those around him, establishing himself as a key figure in the Turkish side’s attacking play.
