Former Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu marked his latest contract milestone with a statement performance as Botev Plovdiv swept aside Beroe 4-0 in a pre-season friendly.
The forward, who has now agreed fresh terms with the Bulgarian club running until 2030, played a key role in the dominant display, finding the net to put his side firmly in control.
Kalu added a second goal in the 57th minute, striking from distance with a powerful effort that underlined his quality and helped stretch the advantage.
Chidera Okoh, the new Nigerian striker, also got off the mark in style on his debut, scoring in the 82nd minute as Botev completed the rout.
Botev will now turn their attention to the start of the new league campaign, with their opening match set for Saturday against Lokomotiv Sofia.
