Where and when the tournament will be shown

The TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 takes place from 26 July to 16 August, with games held at five venues split between Rabat and Casablanca.

CANAL+ confirmed that the full slate of 34 matches will be broadcast live on DStv, DStv Stream, GOtv and GOtv Stream. For fans in Nigeria, coverage will be available on DStv and GOtv via MultiChoice.

Format, expansion and World Cup qualification

The 2026 edition is set to be the biggest in the tournament’s history, after CAF increased the number of participating teams from 12 to 16. It will also function as a qualifying competition for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.

Under the qualification structure outlined for the event, the four teams reaching the semifinals will earn automatic spots at the World Cup. Two additional sides will advance to an intercontinental qualifying playoff.

Executive comments and viewing options

CANAL+ Africa and MultiChoice Group CEO David Mignot said the broadcaster is “delighted” to confirm that the tournament will be aired across the SuperSport channels on DStv and GOtv throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

He added that the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will be the third major football tournament brought to subscribers since the merger with the MultiChoice Group, following the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Men’s TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

DStv and GOtv subscribers will be able to watch the tournament live on SS Football Plus (DStv channel 202). SuperSport Blitz and SuperSport.com will also provide match updates and highlights during the competition.
