Super Eagles wide player Yira Sor is nearing a move to newly promoted Turkish Super Lig outfit Amedspor, with talks reportedly progressing from his current Belgian club, Genk.
The 26-year-old, who earned his Nigeria debut in March, is said to be in advanced negotiations; however, neither Amedspor nor Genk has confirmed a deal as of yet.
Under coach Besnik Hasi, Amedspor are looking to strengthen their attacking options before the start of the new campaign, with Sor potentially teaming up with fellow Nigerian forward Gift Orban.
Genk are understood to be willing to consider a sale, though Sor’s momentum has been disrupted by injuries following his €6.5 million transfer from Slavia Prague in January 2023.
Transfermarkt figures have Sor’s value down to €2.5 million, with the winger now entering the last year of his contract.
