Diane is a darling of the Cannes Film Festival, which she has attended a number of times with beau Joshua Jackson. As a member of the jury this year, she has been rocking the red carpet every night at each of the major film premieres. One of her best looks was arriving, in spite of an uncharacteristic torrential downpour, to the Amour premiere in a jewel-encrusted Vivienne Westwood gown on May 20.
Jessica had two films showing at Cannes this year – just like she did last year, with The Tree of Life (which went on to win the Palme d’Or) and Take Shelter. Her shimmering gold and nude Gucci gown at the Lawless premiere on May 19 was a winner. She also walked the red carpet for Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.
A spokesperson for L’Oreal, who in 2012 mark 15 years as the official make-up sponsor of the Cannes Film Festival, singer Cheryl Cole took to the red carpet for the premiere of Amour on May 20 in a dramatic Stéphane Rolland dress, with a detailed train adorned with red ostrich feathers.
Producer, actress and director, Salma wore a shimmering dark chocolate dress from Gucci Premiere, a collection that was made for her, on May 18, at the premiere of Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted – an outfit that showed off her most curvaceous assets.
The Desperate Housewives star wore a blush-colored Marchesa gown with a 10-foot tulle train that led to her being crowned the queen of the Cannes red carpet early on in the fest – on the first night actually – at the official opening premiere of Moonrise Kingdom on May 16th.
