Nigeria - Davido’s single with Tinashe delayed

Tanzania - Vanessa Mdee will be at the One Africa Music Festival in Houston

Kenya - Huddah Monroe just released her own brand of condoms

DRC - How Ben Affleck’s organisation is helping women in Congo

🇨🇩🇺🇸 • #American actor, #BenAfleck and his company #EasternCongoInitiative are working together to fight rape in the #DRC. The central #African country has some of the most shocking rape statistics in the world where it's estimated that more than 1000 women are sexually violated each day. #Affleck and ECI work on campaigns that empower victims and educate youngsters in a bid to eradicate rape in #Congolese communities. Dr Denis Mukwege of Panzi Hospital in Bakavu spoke to US publication #GlamourMagazine and spoke glowingly about Affleck's company: “#Ben #Affleck is helping Congolese women know their rights and fight for them. … He knows what should be done and what you have to work hard on. It’s not surface; it’s deep.”
