If you're an 80's or 90's baby who loves RnB and hip-hop music and you say that you have never heard the 'Darkchild' tag on a popular song over the past 3 decades, then you have been listening to the WRONG songs.
The 40-year-old producer has made magic with the likes of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Ray J and more and he will soon be adding AKA to that list when the par collaborate for a song on his upcoming album, Touch My Blood.
The rapper confirmed the new via Twitter (as he always does) when he shared a clip from a video chat with Jerkins.
RODNEY JERKINS FAM. DARKCHILD FAM. It’s about to go down in a major way. 🙏🏼 I’m super duper BLESSED. 🙌🏼 pic.twitter.com/uuAdOcgjEp

I’m about to work with someone who produced for Michael Jackson. That’s hectic. 😭

He also confirmed that his album will only be coming out in June and explained why:
#TouchMyBlood release date moved to the 15th of June. Apologies for the delay. We gotta get everything perfect for you. Please be patient. 🙏🏼

I tried my best to make it to the 25th but we need more time to shoot videos, release singles, drop merchandise, confirm dates for the tour etc. Sorry 🙏🏼

With this much effort, we really hope the album (which recently trended for the album art saga) will be worth the wait.
