The chilling CCTV footage of Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes' murder has been making rounds on social media. In the video the murderer can be seen waiting for AKA from a distance on the busy road of Florida, Durban. After AKA is done hugging a 'friend', the gunman fast approaches AKA and fatally shoots him in the head.
The graphic video which does not come with a trigger warning for sensitive viewers, shows the moments before, during and after AKA was murdered. The devastating footage left fans heartbroken and many are trying to piece everything together.
What left many traumatised was the blood that gushed out from AKA's head immediately after he hits the ground.

That CCTV footage shows that as a country u know something is completely wrong when a person can voluntarily open fire in public and take another persons life around people with no care whatsoever about the repercussions. Like bruh it’s scary.

The Forbes family confirmed his death on Friday, 10 February in Durban. They asked for prayers in dealing with the death. Tony and Lynn Forbes, his parents wrote a statement and confirmed his passing.
“It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved son, and confirm his untimely and tragic passing on the evening or February 10, 2023. We are awaiting further details from Durban police.
“To us, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, most importantly father to his beloved daughter Kairo,” his parents added. “To many, he was AKA, Supa Mega, Bhova and the many other names of affection his legion of fans called him by. Our son was loved and gave love in return.”
Wish also released a statement highlighting their intentions to fully cooperate with the police and said they would remain closed until further notice.
