Following the success of his latest single SETE featuring Blxckie and Young stunna, K.O has been praised for giving SA hip hop something to get excited about. The banger went platinum just days after it got released. A massive achievement that is celebrated.

AKA gave K. O his flowers publicly and said he always looked up to him.
 
“An absolute animal. A master of re invention. My idol amongst idols… I’ve been chasing your level for over a decade now. Your stamina is breathtaking … congratulations," said AKA who dubbed him the GOAT. 
 
K. O responded with an equally sweet message thanking AKA for his sweet words and said he is also his idol, “Hold up! Getting flowers from one of MY idols, now that’s different. Kings knight kings. FYI you’re one of the reasons I can’t afford to slack big dawg! More love and light to you and yours. Tankie ndade. ” 
 
AKA noted how SETE was making things difficult for him since he too released a single with Nasty C called Lemons (Lemonade). "Fuc*in’ SETE making my life a misery," tweeted AKA.
 
K. O told him there is still more time he can recover and get to the number 1 spot. "You got this big dawg, it’s only been a week."
SETE is such a banger that it occasionally trends on Twitter. He told Sunday World that the song exceeded his expectations. 
 
“The inspiration was to bring three different people from different worlds and fuse it with the Skhanda thing. I wanted to see what we could cook up, and I am happy with the beautiful smash it has become.
 
“My creative goal was to create a fusion of various worlds, where the artist’s skill and sound could be showcased and thrive on a neutral and mutual platform, ” he was quoted saying.
