Blaq Diamond is currently signed to the record label that has created superstars in Mzansi and is also known badly for how they treat some of their stars.
The duo is known for their hit songs such as Ibhanoyi, Love Letter and Memeza this year Blaq Diamond released their sophomore album Umuthi, which follows their 2017 debut album Inqola.
The record label, Ambitiouz has helped shape some of the biggest careers in music such as Emtee, Sjava and Amanda Black to name a few and whilst they have created award-winning artists they have also hogged headlines for the treatment of their artists.
Ambitiouz announced on Twitter that a new chapter has begun as they announced their partnership with Blaq Diamond on the new label Umuthi Records.
The label has already signed it’s first artist Sbahle, who already has her first single out Emlanjeni.
