Musician Ami Faku is slowly cementing her name as one of South Africa’s favourite musicians. DJ Zinhle is a self-confessed Ami Faku stan, who turns to her music for healing.
The musicians ‘Inde Lendlela’ has earned her a gold plaque and she does not seem to be slowing down.
Ami says she has been waiting a whole 9 years to see her name in headlines. The Ubuhle Bakho hitmaker is reveling in the success and has thanked fans for their continued support and she lamented that all in her social media.
“I’ve come a long way, 9 years in studio prepping for moments like these. #IndeLendlela has gone Gold, thank you for helping me reach my dreams.
Ami’s talent also landed her in the top spot when the online music streaming service Deezer, announced their most-streamed female SA artist in 2019 and she earned the top spot.
Sis is definitely going places.
