Andile Mpisane
Andile Mpisane is a young South African footballer/actor/artist and the son of business moguls Shauwn Mkhize and Sbu Mpisane.

The 21-year-old was born into a family of money and raised in opulence. While we know for sure that he has never gone to bed with a hungry stomach, the young Mpisane has also shown us that he knows how to live and splurge in ways that only the rich can afford.

At the end of 2021, Cassper Nyovest broke the internet when he bought and posted a 2020 McLaren GT on his birthday that was worth around R5 million.

While part of the reason why Cassper and his McLaren trended was that some people seemed to believe that it did not belong to him, he equally trended for claiming that he was the first and only man in South Africa to own a McLaren GT. He also asked the next person who would buy a McLaren to tag him.

Accepting Cassper Nyovest’s challenge, Andile went on Instagram to show off his McLaren and slam Cassper Nyovest for claiming that he was the first and only owner of a McLaren in South Africa.

Here are all the facts we have about Andile Mpisane’s McLaren.

Which model is Andile Mpisane’s McLaren?

Andile has not revealed his McLaren’s model, and while many assume that it’s a McLaren GT, a few sources differ and claim that Andile’s super-fast car is actually a McLaren 720S.

The McLaren 720S is an exotic, low-volume supercar. It runs on a 4.0 L M840T twin-turbocharged V8 engine, produces 710 horsepower, and can accelerate from 0-100 Km/hr in just 2.9 seconds.

How much was Andile Mpisane’s McLaren?

The current market price for a brand new McLaren 720S in South Africa starts at around R5.5 million to R7 million depending on the model year.

It should be noted that this is merely an estimation since Andile has not confirmed the price of his McLaren, and he has also not confirmed if it’s indeed a McLaren 720S.

When did Andile Mpisane buy his McLaren?

It is unclear when Andile Mpisane purchased his McLaren as he only publicly revealed it in December after Cassper’s posted his.

One source indicates that Andile got his McLaren sometime in March 2021 to match his BMW i8 convertible, which is also gold in colour.

In the picture above you can see the two cars side by side and it’s spectacular. It must be nice to have enough money to match your luxury cars, don't you think?

What is the difference between Andile Mpisane’s McLaren and Cassper Nyovest’s McLaren?

To begin with, the colours of the two McLarens are different. While Cassper’s McLaren is white in colour to match his car collection, Andile Mpisane’s McLaren is gold in colour.

If at all Andile Mpisane’s McLaren is a McLaren 720S, then like Cassper Nyovest had said, the two cars are completely different.

Although many people saw Andile Mpisane’s flex about his McLaren as a diss on Cassper, the two celebrities don’t seem to have any bad blood between them, and there is no beef between them.

The footballer showed up at Cassper's event at Konka and bought out all available Billiato stock, in case you missed it- Billiato is Cassper's premium alcohol brand.

The two later posed together, sharing pictures captioned “McLaren owners” and dismissing all the haters who would have loved to see them fight. Cassper and Andile right now belong in the club of #mclarenboysworldwide.
