When we found out the good sis had her birthday bash recently, we had to take a peek.
Last month, Babalwa blessed Khanyi Mbau with a birthday gift that had us thinking “sbwl”. She gave her bestie R10, 000 to ‘get her life’ – friendship goals ke mntase. Not that we had any doubts, but that gift let’s you know that Mzansi’s Barbie is monied – even in this economy.
So it came as no surprise that her 41st birthday dinner was held at Chef Wandile Mabaso’s Les Créatifs Restaurant. Her guests, Linda Moeketsi, K Naomi, Khanyi Mbau, Londie London, Mihlali Ndamase and Rosette Mogomotsi, wined and dined – and by the look of things – fun was had.
On one of her Instagram posts, Miss Party wrote: ” I had initially wanted to travel to Havana with a group of friends this year! To honor my heroes Fidel Castro and Che Guevara… but alas we ended up with an amazing amazing Cuban dinner prepared wit the most meticulous likeness to the food we wud have enjoyed if we wuda made the trip!”
