Bongekile Simelane who is popularly known as Babes Wodumo or the queen of Gqom only came to the limelight a few years ago but in those few years, she has been able to create a big name for herself in the music industry and is currently a very big deal in the industry.

Along with gaining fame, Babes Wodumo has also earned a fortune from her talents and because of that, she can afford to live in the house of her dreams and drive the cars of her choice.

It is not clear exactly where Babes Wodumo lives since she hasn’t provided this information to the public although over the years we have caught a few glimpses of Babes Wodumo’s house. 

Most recently during her son’s sip and tell party, the artist shared a few pictures of the big event and from some of the photos, part of her house is visible and we think it’s beautiful.

Along with living in a lovely home, Babes Wodumo also loves big machines and the good thing is that she can afford them.

It is reported that Babes owns a 2019 Mercedes Benz V-Class and an Audi S7. Both of these vehicles cost nothing less than R 1 million based on the market prices.

Yes, despite the rocky nature of their relationship that has been marred with controversy, Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha are still together.

The couple had their traditional wedding in 2021 and later that year welcomed their first child- Sponge Wodumo into the world.

Babes Wodumo is amongst the few celebrities who have bought their parents houses, and her parents are so proud of her.

Born in Lamontville, Chatsworth under a strict household with parents who disapproved of her love for partying and dancing, Babes Wodumo’s parents had no idea that they would ever enjoy the fruits of Babes’ passion.

In a 2017 interview with Drum Magazine, Babes Wodumo gave an exclusive interview to the publication together with her parents - Mbongeni and Thokozile Simelane.

In the interview, her parents spoke about how they never really approved of Babes' passion for dancing and her love for partying. Instead, they preferred that she pursue a career in becoming a social worker as she loved children and older citizens. Well, it seems that her passion for helping the less fortunate hasn't changed.

During the interview, her proud father told Drum Magazine that Babes recently bought them a house in Glenwood Durban and that she is also planning on opening an old-age home soon as well. Silencing critics, Babes Wodumo’s father who happens to be a reverend also disclosed that thanks to his daughter, he has a house, a pool, and a car of his choice.
