When South Africans woke up to the graphic video of musician, Babes Wodumo being physically assaulted by her boyfriend, Mampintsha, many presumed that the Wololo hitmaker would be receiving some kind of medical attention because the experience was traumatic.

Well, according to a video that is doing the rounds on various social media sites, Babes Wodumo is obviously not at a medical facility as it was recently reported and confirmed by her family. It is quite evident that Mzansi's national treasure was actually out and about with what seemed like a group of friends.

The video also contradicts Babes's father's statement about her being kept at an undisclosed location, stating that the family feared media intrusion and later added that she is receiving medical attention. This ''move'' from Babes's team has a lot of people confused and concerned about the current wellbeing of the singer.

In the video above, Babes is heard uttering words such as: "Beseng'Khathele'', which is loosely translated, I was tired of him (Mampintsha). As she was responding to one of the ladies who was pleased that Mampintsha has been finally caught out.

The comment below raises an interesting point.

Below are just some of the comments from the streets of Twitter.

Yesterday Mampintsha made serious allegations against Babes Wodumo, stating that he was also physically assaulted by the singer - which has now put a new twist onto the story. One of the many allegations were that Babes becomes unruly and violent after consuming a good amount of alcohol.

The West Ink boss also claimed that even their personal drivers can attest to Babes's violent streak because they too have been attacked by the singer.

One can never tell what the truth is regarding this scandal because more contradicting information keeps coming out, of which has caused confusion amongst the masses. Could there be more to this story than meets the eye?
