For the past few weeks, Black Coffee has been hosting the Hoe Brewed session to raise funds for the fight against coronavirus.

The award-winning DJ has now announced that after six episodes this week will be the last Home Brewed session on Saturday.

His Home Brewed sessions first started off as a way to raise funds for the Covid-19 Solidarity Fund, an initiative set by the government.

Seeing the success of his live sessions, the DJ saw an opportunity to raise even more money for different charities that cater towards different causes, all in the name of feeding the poor and more vulnerable and providing the best health care for the ones at the forefront.

Organisations such as Corona Cares SA, KFC's Add Hope, Gift of the Givers, #FeedingSATogether and SAveABusiness have all been greatly assisted by the DJ.

For his last confinement dance, Black Coffee is teaming up with Food Forward SA, ho is assisting in keeping vulnerable communities around South Africa fed during these uncertain times.

In total, Black Coffee has managed to raise close to R500 000 worth of funds to various organisations that are battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
