People were quick to write off the actors form Inxeba primarily because of the controversy that plagued the movie and the general homophobia plaguing South Africa.
To the naysayers and haters dismay, the stars of the movie have experienced their highest highs after the movie. From best actor awards to best-supporting actor wins at the SAFTAs. It’s been all the way up. So much so that the man who won the best supporting actor award has managed to transition to television.
The actor was just announced as the latest addition to the Scandal! family. This isn’t his first step into the small screen as he was the much-feared Poncho on Mzansi Magic’s, Inkululeko. Speaking to Isolezwe, he shared his nervousness about his latest move, “This is my first time appearing on a show that plays every day. This means I’ll constantly be in the eye of the people.”
His first appearance on the show will be on the 11th of June.
Congratulations to him.
