The story is set in the world of print media and online dating, 13 Weeks to Find Mr. Right will be broadcast at 19:30 starting on Sunday 6th February 2022. and will offer a unique and entertaining perspective on personal growth, dating, friendship, and family.

The show stars Kea Zawadi playing the role of Nkuli, Bonko Khoza as Zakhele,
Mohau Cele as Olwethu, Monnye Kunupi as Phumla, Didintle Khunou plays Lerato and Lerato Mvelase as Elaine. Nkuli is an ambitious young journalist in a desperate attempt to save her job, agrees to write an anonymous /alias dating column to prove whether she can find Mr. Right in thirteen weeks but ends up falling for one of her dates, Zakhele.

The series is a funny, tongue-in-cheek poke at internet dating in Johannesburg as we follow Nkuli's escapades through the various social bubbles that exist from the pulsing nightlife of the city centre to the quiet suburbs and boisterous Townships.

Nkuli having to lead a double life and assume different personas, this series is
somewhat a comedy of errors. The comedic suspense comes from Zakhele always on the verge of finding out Nkuli’s secret and her nosy, disapproving mother who knows something is up with Nkuli, who keeps chopping and changing her dress style and interests every week! There is also the humour in Nkuli having to meet with very different men, from IT nerds to wannabe rappers.

The focus of each episode is Nkuli going on different dates with several "Mister Wrongs" under the alias Lulu. Through the dates, Nkuli explores matters of love and romance, identity and self-actualization against the backdrop of her personal complications of a burgeoning relationship with Zakhele.

In addition, viewers will experience the romantic misadventures of Nkuli's best friend Olwethu and her mother Pumla, as well as the cut-throat tension of her work environment throwing her into a heated competition with her boot-licking colleague Lerato vying to earn the approval of their ruthless boss, Elaine the editor in chief of Dazzle Magazine.

“What viewers can expect is a refreshing and eccentric take on a romantic comedy, exciting characters and pop culture references that make the world, characters and the story extremely relatable”. Roberta Durrant, Creative Producer - Penguin Films.
