South Africa’s favourite actress, Brenda Ngxoli who was set to act on SABC 1’s Uzalo shares why she then pulled out of working on the drama series.
In a string of recent tweets, Brenda Ngxoli suprised many when she tweeted that she was hoping to surprise her followers with her new character on Uzalo, but due to certain circumstances her and her team decided to pull out of the show.
Why?
Well, if the tweets are anything to go by it seems as though working on the show proved to be too much work for Brenda that she became concerned for about her health.
The decision to pull out seemed to be due to a fellow actor getting ill and 2 days of shooting explained Brenda.
Which is such a bummer, we would’ve enjoyed seeing her on the Zulu drama series, come to think of it, we wonder if she was going to speak that deep Zulu that the characters on the show speak.
Brenda continued to explain that work was starting to be borderline exploitation.
But Brenda did make it clear that she’s quite sad that she could not continue the project.
Brenda also made it clear that she enjoyed working for SABC 1, so we guess she’s also making it clear that there’s no bad blood between her and the channel?
Brenda was not about to be overworked and compromise her health.
