Multi-talented star, Candice Modiselle has finally wrapped her scenes on Generations:The Legacy.
The petite star announced on Instagram and wrote a VERY lengthy and sincere caption.
Candice portrayed the character of Lerato Matema with so much skill and authenticity. Her on-screen friendship with Lesedi, which is played by Luyanda Mzazi, was what real friendships are made of.
What was meant to be a three month stint, swelled up to a three year long stay on the leading soapie.
The 25-year-old actress is ready to delve deeper into other aspects of storytelling within the Arts. As she departs from the show, Candice revealed that she will be investing her time into nurturing her youth skills development media company called 'Busesta Media'.
Through this company, Candice aims at cultivating her own work, including theatre projects and blockbuster films.
"I plan on leaving no stone unturned. Though I have taken a slight break from acting to focus on my youth skills development company, Busetsa Media, I hope to make a return to theatre, devise my own work, venture into the big screen and all mediums of the arts and storytelling."
''Truly one of the most bittersweet moments of my career, to actively leave a place I’ve called home. What started off as 3 months of the antagonizing rebel who eventually won over Lesedi’s friendship, became 3 years of the Lerato Matema coming of age story.''
Candice Modiselle has been pushing other hustles within the industry. She might have bowed out from Generations, but she also hasn't said much about her television presenting gigs on Selimathunzi and YoTV.
The last born of the three famous Modiselle sisters, is well educated about her line of work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the highly reputable University of Witswatersrand which she obtained in the year 2017.
