This is not the first time, the singer will be taking on the acting reigns, she previously starred in Giyani: Land Of Blood and now she is set to return to screens.
Entertainment commentator Kgopolo Mphela announced the news that Candy would be joining Skeem Saam.
According to Kgopolo, Candy will portray Bafedile a feisty 50- year-old woman, whose return to Turfloop after many years sends shockwaves around the township.
She is expected to make her screen debut on August 19.
